The studio
Made by hand. Designed for the piece.
Indigo Art & Framing is a one-person custom framing studio in Flower Mound, TX. Every project is handled personally — from the first design conversation to the finished frame ready to hang.
About Monique
Indigo Art & Framing was founded by Monique, a custom framer with a background in design and a deep appreciation for the craft. She opened the studio in Flower Mound to offer the Dallas–Fort Worth area something that's hard to find: a framing experience that's personal, unhurried, and genuinely focused on the piece.
Every frame that leaves the studio was designed and built by Monique herself. There's no outsourcing, no assembly line, and no guessing. She works with each customer to choose the moulding, mat, and glass that will make the piece look its best — and then she builds it.
The studio handles everything from original artwork and family photographs to military memorabilia, diplomas, shadow boxes, and gallery walls. If it matters enough to frame, it matters enough to do right.
Philosophy
The approach
Personal from start to finish
You work directly with Monique — not a sales associate, not a counter person. She designs the frame and builds it herself.
The frame serves the piece
A good frame finishes the artwork without competing with it. Every design decision starts from what the piece needs, not what's trending.
No rushing
Custom framing takes time to do well. Monique doesn't rush the design conversation or the build. The finished piece is worth the wait.
Honest guidance
If a less expensive option will look just as good, she'll say so. The goal is a frame you'll love for years — not an upsell.
