What we do
Custom framing, start to finish.
Every service is handled personally — no outsourcing, no assembly line. Monique works with you on the design and builds the frame herself.
Custom Framing
The core of the studio. Whether it's a piece of original art, a family photograph, a diploma, or a vintage poster, every frame is designed for the specific piece and the room it will live in. You choose the moulding, mat, and glass together — nothing is guessed.
- Art and original paintings
- Photographs and prints
- Diplomas and certificates
- Vintage posters and maps
- Needlework and textiles
- Sports memorabilia
Shadow Boxes
Three-dimensional pieces need depth and structure. Shadow boxes are built to hold and display objects — medals, pins, patches, jerseys, keepsakes — in a way that protects them and presents them well.
- Sports jerseys and equipment
- Medals and ribbons
- Pins, patches, and insignia
- Personal keepsakes and mementos
- Baby items and milestone pieces
- Travel and collection displays
Military Memorabilia
Military service pieces deserve to be displayed with the care and respect they represent. Medals, ribbons, photos, flags, and documents are mounted and framed together into a finished presentation that honors the service.
- Medal and ribbon displays
- Service photos and portraits
- Flag cases and folded flags
- Discharge papers and documents
- Unit patches and insignia
- Combined tribute displays
Dry Mounting
Prints, posters, and photographs mounted flat and clean onto a rigid backing for a polished, lasting presentation. Dry mounting eliminates rippling and buckling and gives the piece a finished, professional look.
- Posters and large prints
- Photographs
- Maps and documents
- Canvas prints
- Foam core and archival board options
Canvas Stretching
Unstretched canvases — rolled paintings, prints on canvas, or pieces that have come off their stretcher bars — are stretched taut and gallery-finished. Any size, any canvas weight.
- Original paintings on canvas
- Canvas prints and giclées
- Re-stretching loose or warped canvases
- Gallery wrap or traditional edge options
- Any size canvas
Design Consultation
Not sure what frame, mat, or glass will work best? Bring the piece in and we'll work through it together. The goal is always the same: a frame that finishes the piece without competing with it.
- Moulding and finish selection
- Mat color and width
- Single, double, and triple mat options
- Glass selection — regular, UV, non-glare, museum
- Proportion and visual weight guidance
Materials
Materials and options
Every material choice affects how the finished piece looks and how long it lasts. Here's what goes into a frame.
Moulding
- Wood — painted, stained, gilded, and natural finishes
- Metal — brushed, polished, and matte profiles
- Ornate and carved profiles for traditional pieces
- Slim and floater profiles for contemporary work
Mat Board
- Standard mat board in hundreds of colors
- Conservation and archival mat board
- Fabric-wrapped mats
- Single, double, and triple mat combinations
- Bevel and reverse bevel cuts
Glass and Acrylic

- UV-filtering glass — blocks 99% of UV light
- Non-glare glass
- Museum glass — UV-filtering and non-glare combined
- Acrylic for large or lightweight applications
Mounting
- Conservation hinging — reversible, archival
- Dry mounting — permanent, flat finish
- Float mounting — piece appears to float above the mat
- Foam core and archival board backing
Bring the piece in.
The best way to start is to bring the piece to the studio. We'll look at it together, talk through the options, and you'll leave with a clear picture of what the finished frame will look like.
